We offer a scenic location between a lake and mountains close to the city of Bergen.
It is a pleasure to welcome you to our idyllic, rural and quiet Solneset Farm.
The beautiful village of Unneland is idyllic, rural, quiet and located at the foot of the highest mountain in Bergen - Gullfjellet (987 meters). This mountain offers plenty of hiking opportunities both summer and winter, including mountain lake fishing. We can also arrange hikes with a guide upon request.
The fresh water lake adjacent to the farm is a nature reserve with over 100 different bird species registered. Possible activities include fishing and bird watching. We have rowing boats, kayaks and bikes available for rent. There are also outdoor barbecue areas.
The farm is approx. 25 minutes’ drive from Bergen City Centre, 12 minutes to the Arna Train Station where the train will get you to Bergen in only 8 minutes. Car transport can be arranged upon request.
If you have any special requests, let us know about it and we will try to accommodate your need. We will happily assist you in determining what to do and see in Bergen.
Parking for Motorhomes and Caravans where you can use all our facilities. Amenities include bathroom, shower, washing machine, dryer, and fully equipped kitchen as well as outdoor barbecue areas. Perfect place to park if you want to visit Bergen and stay in a quiet beautiful place. The farm is just outside Bergen, but at the same time in the middle of nature and beautiful mountain. We are small so for us it's possible to give personal service to everyone. For us, you are as a friend who is coming for visiting us.
We have comfortable, newly renovated rooms with beautiful view over the lake. Bathroom, shower, washing machine, sauna and dryer are available right next to the rooms.
