Bergen Light Rail to Lagunen. Bus no. 62 from Lagunen to Buena, 100 m. from Buena Quay. From Buena take the boat across the fjord to Lysøen. Check the time schedule for buses before travelling. Limited buses during weekends and public holidays.
By car: Follow road E39 southwards, then road no. 580 to Lagunen (towards the airport). Turn left on road no. 546 signposted Fana towards Fana Church, and drive over the Fana mountain to Sørestraumen. Follow the signs to Buena kai. From there take the boat across the fjord to Lysøen.
