Visit beautiful Rosendal on a day trip from Bergen. The tour runs every day. See the village, the rose garden at the Barony or go hiking.
Boat cruise from Bergen to Rosendal. Daily departures from Bergen all year. The cruise takes about two hours one way, and you can spend 3 1/2 hours in Rosendal, where you can stroll around this beautiful village, visit the Barony Rosendal and its rose garden, The Folgefonn Center or go for a walk in lovely scenery. You can take the boat one way only or as a round trip, returning to Bergen on the same day.
The Barony Rosendal is the smallest 'castle' in Scandinavia and the only one of its kind in Norway. Among other things, the Barony is famous for its impressive landscape park and rose garden and for the rich programme of cultural events it hosts, which include concerts, courtyard theatre performances, talks and art exhibitions. There is also a pleasant garden café next to the herb garden.
