The Norwegian Soloists' Choir started its talent initiative, The Norwegian Soloists' Choir Academy, three years ago, and the young ensemble singers are already maintaining a sky-high level.
The Norwegian Soloists' Choir Academy members are between 18 and 26 years old and come from all parts of Norway. With this professional programme, the Soloists' Choir wishes to help create a new generation of ensemble singers.
During this year's Bergen International Festival, The Norwegian Soloists' Choir Academy will perform a concert in Håkonshallen with a programme chosen by this year's Artist in residence; soprano and former singer in The Norwegian Soloists' Choir, Lise Davidsen.
In addition, you will be able to meet the choir during this free concert in the middle of the city centre, where they will perform selected folk tunes, works by the Norwegian composer Alfred Janson, excerpts from Grieg's Four Psalms and a selection of surprises.
