More and more customers want to contribute to a positive impact on the destinations they visit, so-called regenerative tourism.
Sustainable tourism is, in short, about maintaining an activity within the nature's and society's, environmental, economic, and social, limits. Regenerative tourism is about regenerating and leaving the destination in a better condition than it was. You can therefore argue that regenerative tourism is a step beyond sustainability.
Precisely that tourism and events can contribute to the regeneration of Bergen as a travel destination, is what Visit Bergen wants to achieve in collaboration with The Green Warriors of Norway. The purpose of the collaboration is to strengthen tourism and events positive contribution to the local community, social sustainability, and the biodiversity in our region.
The collaboration means that The Green Warriors of Norway can assist event organizers and other B2B customers who want to participate in a regenerative activity while visiting or hosting an event in Bergen and the region. This could be, for example, cleaning beaches of plastic waste or learn more about various topics within environmental protection and how you can contribute to take care of our nature, locally and globally.
Visit Bergen looks forward to the collaboration!
