With its stunning surroundings and with over 45 hotels in the city center and surrounding area, Bergen has excellent convention centers for all types of meetings and events. The total hotel capacity in Bergen are 45 hotels with approximately 7,500 rooms and 15,000 beds. Most hotels are located in the center of Bergen within walking distance of the Grieghallen – International Congress & Exhibition centre. In the list below are venues with a capacity of minimum 1000 people or more.

Bergen offers great opportunities to hold all types of meetings, conference, kick-off’s and festivals. The historic streets and spectacular surroundings of Bergen provide the perfect backdrop for any type of event. Stroll through the town square and narrow streets between meetings or take a trip to the fjords on a day trip to experience Norwegian nature. Bergen is easy to get to by plane and train and has a good infrastructure that makes the logistics easy. The city is also well suited for hosting everything from the biggest to the smallest events, even one of the world’s largest sporting events, the UCI World Road Championships was held in Bergen in 2017.

Grieghallen is the Bergen’s leading conference center with large conference halls, multiple meeting rooms and a large stage. With space for even the biggest events and a location right in the city center, the Grieghallen is a natural choice for big events in Bergen.

Quality hotel Edvard Grieg is Bergen's largest hotel and is only five minutes from Bergen airport and approximately fifteen minutes from Bergen city center. The conference rooms occupy two floors with 20 meeting rooms, with around 1000 m2 of floor space and seating for 1080 people. All rooms have modern technical equipment, either with flat screens or projectors in addition to a large lobby, perfect for receptions.

Scandic Bergen city is a modern hotel in the center of Bergen, close to everything in the city center. They have 12 meeting rooms that can accommodate all needs with capacity up to 600 people. They have modern equipment and a professional staff and are affiliated with Magnus Barfot Cinema and Conference Center with its five meeting rooms on what is otherwise used as a 1060-seat cinema and with easy-to-use technical equipment.
