- An ambassador is a person who is a door opener to his network through membership in an international organization
- An ambassador is passionate about his professional environment that promotes Bergen as a host city
- An ambassador has been or wants to host a congress / conference, or a conference that is being planned
The ambassadors will act as informal supervisors in their own environments. The benefit is increased attention for the field, the educational institution and Bergen as a meeting place. New ambassadors are appointed at an annual ceremony.
