You are here: Plan Your Event Incentive trips 4-day incentive itinerary action based
To make it easier for you to plan an incentive trip for your company or for customers, we have created an itinerary over 4 days for groups that are interested in primarily action based experiences.
Activities in the itinerary can of course be changed to better suit what you are looking for.
Most people who travel to Bergen do so by plane. Bergen Airport Flesland is certified as "Airport Carbon Accreditation (ACA)" at level 2 Reduction, and has an ISO14001 certification as well. From the airport you will be transported by electric bus to Hotel Norge by Scandic in the city centre. Hotel Norge first opened in 1885 and has since been an icon and one of Bergen's most prominent hotels. In 2018, the hotel reopened after a 2 year renovation.
After a meet & greet with refreshments, we’re going to start everything off with a segway tour where you get to experience the city's many attractions. On the tour we will ride up towards Fløyen to the viewpoints at Fjellsiden, where you get a spectacular view over the city. (The tour starts with a basic training session).

From segway to something completely different. In Åsane Arena, 15 minutes drive from the city centre, the Nordic region's largest climbing arena just opened. 3200 square meters of climbing walls, and challenges at all levels. Get your climbing gear on!
Dinner on day 1 is at Cornelius, one of Norway's best seafood restaurants. Cornelius is located by the sea on an islet with spectacular views, and is only accessible by boat. The boat ride of about 25 minutes goes through the skerries outside Bergen, and is an experience in itself.

Day 2 of the itinerary starts with a train ride from Bergen to Myrdal (About 2 hours and 20 minutes). From Myrdal, we continue to Vatnahalsen, the starting point of Norway's longest zipline. The zipline is an incredible 1381 meters long and the height difference from the top to the bottom , is 305 meters. Along the way, you will reach speeds of up to 100 kilometers per hour. Talk about kick-starting the day!
When your heart rate is back to normal, it's time to get ready for another fast-paced experience. From Flåm we’ll take you to Styvi farm on a fast moving RIB-boat. Styvi farm is located by the spectacular Nærøyfjord, a side arm of the Sognefjord. With snow-capped mountains towering over us, the Nærøyfjord is indescribable. It’s no wonder why the Nærøyfjord has been given status as a Unesco World Heritage Site. At Styvi farm we will enjoy a delicious barbecue lunch on the by the fjord.

After lunch, the RIB-boats will transport us to our next destination, Gudvangen, which is located in the innermost part of the fjord. In Gudvangen you can find your inner viking in the viking town of Njardarheimr. Feel the smell of tar and bonfires, test yourself in archery and ax throwing, or join other viking games.

When we’re all “vikinged out” the trip continues by electric bus over Vikafjellet to Voss. In Voss we will stay at the historic Fleischer's hotel. The hotel was built in 1889 and is known for its atmosphere, magnificent dining room and welcoming hosts.
We will have dinner at Restaurant Flor’n on Store Ringheim farm. The restaurant offers down-to-earth & rustic food, made from the best local ingredients, and produce their own craft beer, "Vetle Ivar".
We’ll spend day 3 at Voss, which is world famous for extreme sports and adrenaline-fueled activities. We can choose from a large selection of activities guaranteed to excite you.
Here are some examples of activities:
-white water rafting
-flying in a wind tunnel
-paragliding
- parachuting
-rappelling down waterfalls
-offroad cycling
-SUP (Stand up paddle board)

After an eventful day, we will return to Bergen via Hardanger by electric bus. We stop at a farm shop along the route for a taste of local fruit and berries. We have also scheduled a stop at Steinsdalsfossen, one of the most visited waterfalls in Norway. The waterfall has a drop of 50 meters, and has a pathway where you can walk behind the waterfall, giving you a feeling of being “inside” the waterfall.
Back in Bergen, we check in at Hotel Norge by Scandic.
Depending on what time of day you leave Bergen, day 4 is an excellent opportunity to experience more of Bergen on your own. We recommend you visit Bryggen, one of Norway's most popular attractions, or go on a discovery tour among the wooden houses on Nordnes. Or why not visit one of Bergen's many interesting and exciting museums.
