Apple cider, Hansa beer and the world's best gin

When Bergen joined the Hanseatic League in the 1300s, the import of beer to Norway began in earnest, and gradually local production also increased. The largest producer in Bergen is Hansa Borg Bryggerier, but beer from smaller breweries such as 7 Fjell has quickly become popular among Bergen residents. 7 Fjell bryggeri is located just outside the city centre and offers visits for both large and small groups.

On Osterøy outside Bergen you will find Tøsse Brygghus, which also welcomes groups of all sizes for both beer tasting and a tour of the mill. Tøsse Brygghus is located right on the quayside, and a popular choice is to arrive by boat.
