There are lots of options in the Bergen region for cultural activities, experiences, sports and, not least, a wide range of venues for hosting conferences, congresses, national conventions and events.
Bergen Flesland is the area to the south of Bergen city centre around Bergen Airport, Flesland. As well as its proximity to the region’s airport, the area has large industrial areas at Sandsli, Kokstad, Lønningen and Flesland.
There are six large hotels in the area with good meeting and conference facilities, a range of attractions, several sports arenas and one of Norway’s biggest shopping centres. Bergen city centre’s rich cultural scene is also close by, and is easy to get to by Bergen Light Rail, bus or taxi. Bergen Flesland is a great starting point for exploring Norway’s world-famous fjords.
