In Bergen you can visit several museums outside of opening hours. KODE, Arven and Hillesvåg Ullvarefabrikk can all accommodate visits to their museums outside of opening hours for private groups.

The craft business aims to preserve and share traditional knowledge through cultural experiences for visitors. Hillesvåg Ullvarefabrikk is a traditional factory that produces wool and yarn using Norwegian wool and the factory offers guided tours for groups interested in learning more about how wool becomes yarn.

A visit to Hillesvåg is part of the wool route, where you can explore the history of wool production in the Bergen region and visit modern fashion houses that sell Norwegian-made knitwear to the whole world.

Have you ever been to a glacier? Going on a glacier hike with Folgefonna Breførarlag is a spectacular nature experience. Folgefonna is Norway 3. largest glacier, and covers a total area of 214 km2. On a glacier walk you can really experience the forces of nature up close. Walking on the blue ice and crawling through ice tunnels and experience cracks, caves and pointed towers in the ice.
