Accommodation for groups and FIT travellers to Bergen

Unique accommodation

Half an hour outside Bergen, you'll find the beautiful place Furiholmen, which you can rent all to yourself. A boat is also available for rent, and there's a lovely outdoor area with a jacuzzi on the terrace. Furiholmen can accommodate 8 people in two buildings. The hosts are at your service if needed.

Another option outside the city center is staying at Floating Villa Bergen or Fab8 - Sardinfabrikken on the island Fedje. Both places offers accommodation out of the ordinary.

If a five star hotel is what your clients are looking for, then Hotel Norge by Scandic is a great choice. Although we do not have star ratings in Norway, this hotel truly lives up to the high standard expected in a five star hotel.

If you prefer to stay in Bergen city center Opus XVI, a Edvard Grieg Heritage Hotel, is a great choice. The hotel is a member of Small Luxury Hotels of the World.

Historic places to stay

Bergen is a World Heritage City and right in the heart of the city is the old harbor area and UNESCO World Heritage Site Bryggen. Bryggen is a must to visit when in Bergen and has several museums, restaurants and galleries.Accommodation for groups at Bryggen

At Bryggen, you can also find several places to stay like the Hanseatic Hotel (Det Hanseatiske Hotell) with its charming 37 unique rooms and Radisson Blu Royal Hotel.

Boutique hotels

Stay in a small and intimate hotel close to all the major attractions in the city center. Hotel Oleana is centrally located with individually designed rooms, inspired by the Bergen violin virtuoso and composer Ole Bull. The building dates back to 1926, and has been converted into a modern hotel with the old features preserved.

Hotels for larger groups

If your group requires a large number of rooms, then the hotels by the airport are often a popular choice. The Quality Hotel Edvard Grieg only 5 minutes drive from the airport offers 373 rooms in total. Read more about airport hotels here.

Scandic Ørnen is one of Bergen's largest hotels with 368 spacious, bright and modern rooms and is centrally located by the Grieg Hall. Thon Hotel Orion close to Haakons Hall and Bryggen is another good alternativ as well as Prize by Radisson, Solheimsviken Bergen with 217 rooms in total, and the nearby Moxy Bergen with 199 rooms.

    Overlooking the sea Moxy Bergen offers a hotel stay with an great view of Bergen located in the heart of the fjords.

Apartment & cabin rentals

Staying in a hostel or self catering apartment is a social and affordable option when visiting Bergen. At HI Bergen Youth Hostel Montana you have the great hike up Mount Ulriken right at your doorstep, and getting to the city center only takes you about 10-15 minutes by bus.

In the city center Ole Bull Hotel & Apartments offer well equipped high standard apartments, right in the heart of Bergen nightlife. 

Outside the city center you can also find cabin rentals (or rorbu as it is called in Norwegian) located right by the sea.
