You live on the sea, waking up to the sound of waves and a beautiful view every morning. You can fish from the house, paddle kayak and SUP, take a morning swim, have breakfast on the terrace, and enjoy the proximity to the sea. The floating house is a great starting point for an active holiday or total relaxation. Floating Villa is suitable for couples, one or more families, groups of friends, companies, and quiet events.
Floating Villa is the only one of its kind in the world and one of the few floating houses in Norway. You have access to the entire house and a private boat during your stay. The house is like a modern home inside, offering a blend of everyday luxury and beautiful nature. You have direct access to the Norwegian archipelago from the house.

Before arrival, we are happy to provide information about Bergen with unique places worth visiting. Upon arrival, we can meet you if desired and explain how the boat and house work. If you have special requests, we will do our best to fulfill them. Don't hesitate to ask for local tips.
Location
Floating Villa is moored next to Holmen, a small island outside Bergen. On the opposite side of the island lies the famous fish restaurant Cornelius. No one else lives on Holmen except you. Holmen is a perfect starting point for experiences in Bergen and on the west coast, and it's easy to get to other parts of the country. It is an 18-minute drive to downtown Bergen and a 25-minute drive to the airport.
Number of Rooms, Beds, and Layout
Floating Villa has 5 bedrooms with a total of 14 standard beds. As extra beds, there are two sofa beds. Four of the bedrooms are very large, and two are smaller with a bunk bed and a family bed, respectively. 1st floor: 5 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms. Access to the jacuzzi via the bedroom with a private terrace. 2nd floor: Large living room with high ceilings and open plan to a well-equipped kitchen. Exit to the terrace. 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom with washing machine, and 1 storage room with dryer.
Prices for Stay
The price is the same all year round at NOK 7450.- plus NOK 350.- per person per night. There are separate prices for events. The price includes cleaning, free use of boat, kayak, SUP, and fishing rods. There is a small additional charge for the jacuzzi due to cleaning.

Car: approx. 18 minutes from downtown Bergen.
Taxi: approx. 18 minutes from downtown Bergen. (We recommend Bergen Taxi)
Boat: approx. 30 minutes from downtown Bergen. (approx. 15 minutes from the airport)
