Camping is a popular and budget friendly way to stay in Norway, and Bergen offers several different campsites within 15-20 kilometers from Bergen city center. Some campsites also offer cabins for rent.

Camping places are ideal for travelers on the road. Camping in Bergen provide mobility and lets you stay close to the nature. If you travel with a caravan or want to set up a tent, the campsites provide the facilities like water, toilets, electricity, showers, for a low cost.

In the Bergen region you can find camping places in various price ranges, sizes and standards.

Some are of the luxurious kind with shops, kiosks and restaurants, while other only offer the most basic facilities. Most of the camping in Bergen is easy to get to by bus, and with the Bergen Card you can travel for free with the bus and Bergen Light Rail.
