The cozy mini house has an old-fashioned wood fired cooking stove for both heating and cooking. Foods such as vegetables, meat, mushrooms, bread and fresh eggs can be bought directly from the farm when it is season. It doesn't get more local! It is a little functional kitchen, but you can also order meals from the host. (must be arranged a few days ahead)
The sheep on the farm are of the old Norse sheep type, which is one of the oldest sheep breeds in Norway. The Vikings used wool from this breed to make everything from underwear and raincoats to sails during their time! And when we talk about Vikings and wool, join the Wool Heritage Route, which takes you on a journey from the Viking Age to modern design.
