Activities in Voss:
In winter, Voss is a great place for skiing whether you prefer cross country skiing or downhill. If you do like the locals in Bergen, you take the train from Bergen to Voss and right there at the train station you’ll find the cable car that will take you to the top of the slopes.
During the summer, white water rafting is popular for the whole family and so is the wind tunnel at VossVind.

Just outside the city center you will find Voss Climbing and Zipline Park in beautiful surroundings by the Stranda River. The park has 60 different elements and all trails end with a quite airy zipline, the highest being about 14 meters above the ground. The longest zipline is 70 meters, so you’ll have plenty of time to get over the initial fright and just enjoy the flying feeling!
The park is popular for children, who get a great sense of achievement, teenagers who want to do something cool, and adults who just want to play. (And get that great feeling of achievements just like the kids!)

Voss city center is called Vossevangen or just Vangen amongst locals. Vangen is compact and it's easy to find your way around and there is plenty of things to do in Voss. The city center is located next to a beautiful big lake and surrounded by high mountains. There are several shops, restaurants, a couple of hotels and a Tourist Information.
How to get to Voss:
If you drive from Oslo to Bergen, Voss is a nice place to stop along the way. If you are travelling in the summer and the weather is nice, take a well-deserved break, find a towel in the boot of your car and head down to the lake for a nice refreshing swim! We can guarantee that your senses will sharpen and you’ll be ready for the last part of the drive to Bergen.
