Didrik Solli-Tangen (b. 1987) is trained as a classical singer at the Barratt Due Institute of Music in Oslo. He gained national recognition in 2010 when he won the Norwegian final of Melodi Grand Prix with the song "My Heart Is Yours." In the fall of 2017, he participated in Stjernekamp on NRK, where he placed second. In 2021, he won Maskorama on NRK, disguised as the "Snow Monster." The final was watched by over 1.2 million viewers. For over 10 years, Didrik's powerful voice has moved the Norwegian people, including the Royal Family. His first original Christmas song "Det Skal Bli Jul" has been A-listed on NRK P1, and he has performed for sold-out concert halls across the country. In 2021, he released "O Helga Natt" together with the Oslo Philharmonic Choir.
