Tysnesfest is a music festival hel every year on the island Tysnes outside Bergen. To get from Bergen to Tysnes it takes about 45 minutes by car to Halhjem and then a ferry for about 30 mintues. You can also take a public bus and they run quite frequently.

When you get across with the ferry at Våge you are right in the heart of the festival. At Våge there is a large guest harbour for boats, several different music arenas as well as a market and a small fun fare. The main music stage is about 15 minutes walk from the harbour.
