The Viking Shop is a store inspired by Nordic history, Viking culture, and traditional craftsmanship. Here you will find Viking-inspired jewelry, clothing, souvenirs, gift items, and décor - perfect for history enthusiasts, tourists, and anyone looking for something unique with roots in Nordic culture.

We place great emphasis on quality, attention to detail, and historical inspiration, and many of our products are based on authentic symbols and patterns from the Viking Age.

You can find us in historic premises dating back to 1601, just across the street from the Fjord Line’s terminal at Nøstet. From Torgallmenningen in the city center of Bergen, it’s about an 8-10 minute walk, and around 5 minutes from the theatre.

Venue hire - The Viking Experience

The premises can be rented for various events, with parts of the shop cleared away to create a unique and atmospheric setting for your occasion.

You can also rent the space with a ready-made concept through The Viking Experience. Experience Viking culture in a social and tasteful way, with locally brewed Viking beer, strong mead, and fresh cider, served alongside a “Viking Tapas” platter perfectly paired with the drinks.

Along the way, enjoy live sagas from Bergen and Western Norway, with stories of heroes, honor, adventure, and love that bring the past to life.
