Experience a journey through a landscape of majestic mountains, roaring waterfalls and idyllic orchards, on your way to the beautiful Queen of fjords
You can start this tour from the bus station in Bergen or from the quay in Norheimsund. If you start from Bergen, you get the bus to Norheimsund where the boat takes you to the inner reaches of what is called “the queen of Norwegian fjords”.
On this incredible fjordcruise to the inner part of Hardangerfjorden you will see many beautiful villages and settlements encircled by majestic mountains with snow-covered peaks. If you take the trip in May or June, you may also experience the fruit trees in full blossom.
Sightseeing in Eidfjord:
You have around three hours to explore Eidfjord by yourself, or you can join the Sightseeing Eidfjord tour (optional extra). It is also possible to take activity trips like Guided glacier hiking or summer ski at Folgefonna, and cycle tour along the Hardangerfjord.

09:00: Departure by boat from Nordheimsund kai
11:45: Arrival Eidfjord kai
Three hour stop at the village of Eidfjord. 2.5-hour sightseeing bus tour stopping at Hardangervidda Nature Centre and Vøringsfoss waterfall (otional extra).
14:40: Departure by boat from Eidfjord
17:30: Boat arrives back at Norheimsund quay
17:45: Departure by bus from Nordaheimsund kai
19:10: Arrival Bergen Bus Station

Sightseeing tour to the Hardangervidda Nature Center and Vøringsfossen Waterfall can be booked as an optional extra. We highly recommend this trip, the waterfall is spectacular and has a great viewpoint.
