If your time is limited but you still would like to see the fjords or the islands surrounding, there is a few great options in Bergen to choose from.

To see the fjords at its most narrow parts with high mountains (like you've most likely seen on pictures) you really need a full day trip. However, with a half day cruise to Mostraumen you get a sense of the fjords and this tours has become a very popular option in the last few years. It is running daily the whole year round.
