Oslo to Bergen by train (approx. 7 hours)
The train from Oslo to Bergen passes through spectacular landscapes and gives you a lot of options for excursions on the way, like taking the Flåm Railway to the small fjord village Flåm. The train from Oslo gets you directly to the city center in Bergen, so you can easily get to your hotel and start exploring.
Driving from Oslo to Bergen (7-8 hours)
When driving by car from Oslo to Bergen you really have the flexibility to explore all the big and small attractions on the way like Flåm or the Vøringsfossen waterfall in Eidfjord. Drive on the national tourist routes in Hardangervidda, take a detour to the Folgefonna glacier or stay overnight in Voss.
By bus the journey from Oslo to Bergen takes around 9 and a half hours. Really appreciate the nature as you drive through the mountain passes and scenic roads towards Bergen.
