Bergen Airport Flesland is Norway’s second busiest airport, beautifully located by the majestic fjords about 18 kilometres south of Bergen city.
From Bergen Airport to the city center it takes about 25 minutes by car and a few minutes longer with the Airport bus. The vast majority of the people visiting Bergen arrives by airplanes at Bergen Airport Flesland. Bergen Airport serves Vestland county and the city of Bergen.
Over 3,8 million passengers enters the terminal buildings every year. The airport has 36 direct routes from large European cities, such as the major transport hubs in Amsterdam, Copenhagen and London.
As Norway’s second largest city, Bergen has direct flights from a large number of big and small cities in all regions of Norway, most of them operated by Scandinavian Airlines, Widerøe and Norwegian.
When arriving at Bergen Airport Flesland, it is easy to get around in the Bergen Region. The Airport Bus takes about 30 minutes to the city centre, where you easily can get around the region by train from the Bergen Railway Station, by boat from Strandkaiterminalen (Bergen boat terminal) or by bus from Bystasjonen (Bergen Bus Station). There is also Bergen Light Rail (Bybanen) line number 1 that takes you right into the heart of the city center. The Bybanen is free if you have the Bergen Card.

There are three hotels in walking distance to the airport terminal building and another two hotels within a five-minute drive.
The hotels by the airport are ideal for business travelers and has good meeting facilities for small and large groups. Bergen Airport Flesland has good parking capacity, and it is easy to rent a car upon arrival.
