Bergen has a rich literary scene with events ranging from intimate author conversations to large festivals.

The annual international Bergen Literature Festival, LitFestBergen, brings together authors and readers for inspiring talks, while Litteraturhuset i Bergen (The House of Literature) offers a diverse program of debates, readings, and lectures throughout the year.
