Kulturhuset (the House of Culture) in Bergen is a hub for music, art, design, architecture and much more.
Our goal is to become a natural and inclusive meeting spot for everyone who is interested or involved in the city's rich cultural life. We are open every day, and we offer a comprehensive and wide selection of concerts, performances, club events, exhibitions, workshops, conferences and much more. Bergen is filled with creative forces, and it makes sense that the city can also offer a place where people from all these environments have the opportunity to meet and hang out. We have three stages, a restaurant, three bars and a roof terrace. We also have five conference room available for rent.
Kulturhuset's restaurant is located on the 1st floor and on the mezzanine on the 2nd floor. The kitchen opens at 11, and closes at 22 (tue-sat) and 18 (sun-mon). Here you can order everything from breakfast and lunch to dinner and small dishes. The restaurant's main focus is being green and sustainable, and it offers a wide range of vegetarian and vegan dishes. It is of course also possible to order meat and fish, if you want that.
Meeting and events:
Artists and external organizers can book Kulturhuset's premises for concerts, performances, conferences, meetings and other types of events, both official and private.
We have three stages with a capacity from 230 to 600 pax. We also have 5 meeting/conference rooms available for rent (capacity from 15 to 230 pax). Both stages and conference rooms are fully equipped, and it is also possible to include our kitchen and bars in your plans.
Please send a request to email@example.com and we we’ll take it from there!
