Vannkanten Waterworld, Mount Fløyen, Bergen Aquarium and VilVite Bergen Science Centre offers great family activities in Bergen throughout the year.
In Bergen there is a lot to do for those who like speed and excitement. One of the thrilling rides is the BOB water slide at Vannkanten aquapark. With its 120 meters, this is Norway's longest water slide. The tunnel has interactive entertainment with music, light themes and smashpoints, and you choose the theme you like before setting off. Compete with the rest of the family for the best scores, which appear at the end of the ride.
Vannkanten aquapark is a great place for both fun and relaxing on your family holiday in Bergen. Enjoy everything from therapy pool, sauna, hot tubs indoors and outdoors to slides and pools for kids of all ages. You can also challenge yourself up the climbing wall. The reward when you reach the summit is to get to slide back down.
In just 6 minutes, the Fløibanen funicular takes you from Bergen city center to the end station, which is 320 meters above sea level. In addition to offering the best views of the city, Fløyen is an eldorado for family activities in Bergen. Here you will find a variety of areas where the children can climb trees, play hide and seek and enjoy the freedom of the mountains. They can also enjoy themselves in the playground or have fun in the Troll Woods with the troll figures.
The playground and the climing park is a popular place for locals to bring their children - all year round.
