Enjoy one of the calmest winter experiences in Norway as you float on the still waters of Norheimsund Bay — only 80–90 min from Bergen. This location offers a slightly more urban-style fjord experience, with the village waterfront and marina close by. Here, you can walk straight to the shoreline and literally step into the Hardangerfjord before drifting weightlessly in a warm immersion suit for 25–30 minutes. Our local guide stays close throughout the session.
The mix of quiet fjord nature and a small, lively village atmosphere creates a unique contrast you won’t find elsewhere in the fjords.
After your float, we gather by the fjord for a warm drink and light refreshments — a simple, relaxing way to end a memorable winter activity in Hardanger.

Not recommended for guests with heart or respiratory condition. All participants need to know how to swim.
Meeting place and time in Norheimsund:
Departure from Thon Hotel Sandven, next to the bus terminal in Norheimsund. Meet in the hotel lobby 15 minutes before departure.
Wardrobe and toilet:
Toilet and cloakroom at the base by the hotel. Any valuables can be locked in the wardrobe at the base.
Payment and terms:
The tour must be booked online and paid for in advance. Changes and cancellations can be made free of charge up to 3 days before departure. In case of cancellation within the deadline, a full refund is given.
Tickets and prices:
A round-trip bus ticket to Bergen is not included and must be purchased separately. With the Bergen Card you get free bus travel. The boat trip must be booked no later than 10 hours before the boat departure. For later bookings, please contact us to check if we have space available.
Bus to and from Norheimsund:
Route bus number 930/ 925 from terminal O, Bergen Bus Station. Travel time 1 hour 25 minutes, so we recommend taking a bus from Bergen that leaves at least 2 hours before your departure. You get off the bus at Norheimsund Bus Terminal.
Buy a ticket in the ticket machines at Bergen bus station or pay by card when boarding. If you have the Bergen Card, the bus journey is free. Remember that the Bergen Card must be valid when boarding. Get off the bus at Norheimsund bus terminal.
