Inspired by the European aperitivo tradition, this curated walk takes you through the city with a progression of carefully selected tastings. Designed as the ideal experience before dinner, it offers a social and flavour-driven introduction to Bergen's food and drink culture.
Together with your host, a local guide and sommelier, you'll explore Bergen through both flavour and storytelling.
Along the way, you'll enjoy a selection of high-quality tastings – including seafood, local cider, carefully selected wines, champagne and traditional Norwegian specialities. Each stop is chosen for its character, quality and connection to the region.
The experience also connects food and drink to Bergen's history, from the Hanseatic trade to local traditions of preservation and craftsmanship. Bergen is part of UNESCO's Creative Cities Network as a City of Gastronomy, and this experience offers a curated introduction to what that means in practice.
The tour ends at a rooftop bar in the city centre, where you'll enjoy a final drink – the perfect place to either continue your evening or head to a dinner reservation around 20:00.
