Sepulcher
Sepulcher hails from Fusa and plays thrash/death metal, spiced up with a bit of punk, doom, and an occult atmosphere. The band includes members from Reptilian, Inculter, and Gaahls WYRD. They have released two full-length albums — Mausoleum Tapestry (2016) and Panoptic Horror (2018) via Edged Circle Production — both of which received strong reviews in Norway and abroad.
Contorted
Contorted is a death metal band from Bergen. Drawing from the old school of the genre, they deliver equally intense and heavy riffs, raw self-production, unsettling melodies, and a violent soundscape. The band aims to explore multiple branches of extreme music, marked by a dynamic sound that combines the dark mysticism and atmosphere of black metal, the uncompromising brutality of death metal, and the experimental nature of prog rock. This has made Contorted an intriguing addition to the underground extreme metal scene, leading up to their upcoming 2025 EP The Sacrosanct, where the band’s contrasts are further reinforced and expanded.
