2,5 hours from Bergen you can enjoy a steaming hot sauna with the spectacular view to the fjord, the mountains, and the glacier.
The village of Børve is located 2,5 hours drive from Bergen, 10 minutes drive from Ullensvang. The little sauna run by Heit Sørfjorden Sauna is situated right by the fjord. The temperature in the sauna is approximately 80 degrees and the fjord is slightly colder (!), offering you a break from the heat. The sauna has a Finnish made wood-burning heater.
The sauna is the perfect activity after a hike, for example after the spectacular “Dronningstien”. The sauna is located a short 10 minutes drive from Lofthus (the ending point for Dronningstien). We recommend that you combine your visit to the sauna with a visit to our neighbours at Børve, the cider company Hardangergutane.
The sauna is spacious enough for 6 persons and you prebook your visit online. Make sure you place your booking at least 12 hours in advance. You and your friends then get the sauna all to yourself for 90 minutes.
Bring your swimsuite and a towel, and you are ready to dive in!
