Torsdagskonsert Dagland

We are thrilled to welcome Dagland.

Dagland is the solo project of Dag Atle Håland, who has been a driving force behind many bands such as Cajun Gumbo, Rune Hauge, Takes Two to Tango, Heimalanne, Rune Walle Band, Texanos, Berith, and more. With the project and the album Round & Round, his aim is to let Scandinavian folk music meet Americana – with a big sound and a fiddle-band approach. Brilliant musicians play around with catchy themes, with all lyrics and music written by Dag Atle.

In 2025, the band will release a new album titled Up & Down.

The band features some of Bergen’s finest roots musicians:
Aksel Fjæra: bass, vocals / Morten Bergstrøm: drums / Øivind Hjønnevåg: bouzouki, mandolin, tenor guitar, vocals / Dag Atle Håland: vocals, various guitars, harmonica / Halstein Gåsemyr: fiddle, vocals / Edward Vincent: acoustic guitar, vocals / Marielle Woll Sigvaldsen: vocals

The event is a collaboration between Toneland, Sartor Bowling, and Folkeakademiet Vest. Welcome!
