Bien Litteraturhuset serves classic Norwegian food and drinks in authentic surroundings, in one of the city's oldest neighbourhoods.

The restaurant is located in Vågsbunnen, in the middle of the historic centre of Bergen.

Bien Litteraturhuset wishes to present the best of the West Norwegian kitchen. The menu consists of dishes such as "persetorsk", "plukkfisk", meatballs, "sosekjøtt", fish soup, "raspeballer" and Scandinavian open sandwiches for lunch.

On the drinks menu you will find Norwegian/local cider, beer and spirits, in addition to wines and spirits from all over the world.

Litteraturhuset is a foundation whose purpose is to promote literature. The foundation has many hundreds of events a year in its own right, but also rents out course/conference/function rooms for private purposes.
