Boat cruise from Bergen to Rosendal (round-trip; the ticket is only valid for the return on the same day). The cruise takes about two hours one way, and you can spend 3 1/2 hours in Rosendal, where you can stroll around this beautiful village, visit the Barony Rosendal and its rose garden, The Folgefonn Centre or go for a walk in lovely scenery. (Entry tickets not included).
Folgefonna Center:
At Folgefonna Center you can learn about Folgefonna National Park, climate change, nature diversity and sustainable use of natural resources. In the interactive exhibition you can learn about the interaction between man and nature. The Folgefonna Center is located close to where the boat docks, in the center of Rosendal. Here you will also find Tourist Information.
Baroniet Rosendal:
In the summer months you can also visit the Baroniet Rosendal, which is Scandinavia's smallest castle and the only one of its kind in the country. The castle is within walking distance to the center of Rosendal and is famous for its magnificent landscape park with the rose garden and a rich cultural program with concerts, bourgeois theater, lectures and art exhibitions. There is also a nice garden cafe next to the herb garden.
NB: Please note that entry tickets for the Folgefonna Center or Baroniet is not included.
The boat also stops at Flesland and Os on its way to and from Rosendal.
