Norheimsund RIB Seafari takes you right into some of Norway’s most stunning sceneries. Onboard our comfortable, open RIB you get a close feeling of this world famous fjord area with waterfalls which was created by erosion and melting ice thousands of years ago.
After crossing the majestic Hardangerfjord our vessel will bring you up the narrow fjord of Fyksesund to Botnen, a settlement with rugged beauty that will leave you breathless. This community is remote even by Norwegian standards, it's rural with no crowds – no ques - no fuzz. Just pure silence and picturesque scenery. Bring your camera to capture your memories of this panoramic adventure. On board our fast running, open RIB boat you will pass waterside villages and steep mountains raising 3000 feet into the air. This is where glacial erosion have given way to sculpted towering mountainsides with dramatic waterfalls. This is “alpine cruising” that excites. Cruising the deep fjord along towering mountains is an unforgetable experience and a panoramic adventure which provides you with everlasting memories. Scenic route: Norheimsund-Aksnesholmane-Herand-Fyksesund-Botnagrend-Kvamsøy-Norheimsund. Departure from Norheimsund Marina downtown Norheimsund. The trip is suitable for most people.

The boat departs from Norheimsund Marina, 150 meter from bus terminal.
Meeting Time Norheimsund:
15 minutes prior to departure for dress up and briefing.
Departure from Bergen Bus Terminal:
Route 925 from terminal O (Oscar), Bergen Busstasjon. Travelling time 1 hour 25 minutes. We recommend taking a bus from Bergen that leaves from Bergen at least 2 hours before your departure. The bus stops at Norheimsund Busterminal.

Tour starting at 12.00, bus from Bergen Bus Station at 09.55, arrival Norheimsund at 11.20. Return from Norheimsund at 15.00, arrival in Bergen at 16.25.
Tour starting at 15.00, bus from Bergen Bus Station at 11.55, arrival Norheimsund at 13.20 (alternatively at 13.20 with arrival Norheimsund at 14.45) Return from Norheimsund at 17.35, arrival in Bergen at 19.00

Visit Steinsdalsfossen on the way back to Bergen?
When returning from Norheimsund, passengers can get off the bus at Steinsdalsfossen / possibly walk along Movatnet / and take the next bus to Bergen. There is a bus stop, coffee shop and tourist information nearby.

Where to buy tickets
Purchase your ticket from the ticket machines at the bus station. No tickets on board. Holders of the Bergen Card travel free. Get off at Norheimsund Busterminal.
Duration boat trip:
90 minutes at sea with addition for dress up and briefing.
Outfit:
We recommend practical leisure wear and shoes. The cox provides you with flotation suit and googles for comfort and safety.
Wardrobe facilities:
Heated wardrobe with lockers and storage room for luggage. Toilets are available at base. No toilets on board.
Health limitations:
The trip is not suitable for guests with back- and neck injuries.
Age:
From 4 years. No limit upwards.
Steinsdalsfossen:
After the RIB tour, many of our guests walk from the marina along Movatnet to the famous Steinsdalsfossen and take the bus back to Bergen from there. Here you get to experience a large waterfall up close. Steinsdalsfossen is located by road nr. 7 towards Bergen, and has something as unique as a footpath behind the waterfall. Behinf the waterfall you get a very special feeling of the power of the water. In the area at Steinsdalsfossen you will find a kiosk, toilet, tourist information and a bus stop where you can take the bus back to Bergen.
Terms of payment - cancellation:
Payment by online booking. Full refund if cancelled 48 hours prior to departure or in case of cancellation by provider.
ONLINE BOOKING:
You can buy tickets at the Tourist Information in Bergen or book them online here. The return bus ticket from Bergen comes in addition. The bus trip is free with the Bergen Card.
The trip must be booked 2 hours before departure at the latest.
Bergen Card:
15 % discount when using the Bergen Card. Enter the word bergencard in the promo code field in the booking process to get the discount. Remember that valid cards must be presented when boarding for each person in the booking.
Tickets:
Your email confirmation is your receipt. Please bring a printed receipt or show the confirmation on your mobile phone before the RIB trip in Norheimsund.
