Welcome to Grimen Sauna – a unique self-service, wood-fired sauna by the beautiful Grimevatnet lake.

Here, you can enjoy deep tranquility, the warmth of a wood-burning stove, and the refreshing, clear freshwater just outside the door. A perfect retreat for those seeking relaxation, peace, and a connection with nature.

There is a simple changing room, but not a private one. It is easy to get into the water. You can wade into the water from the shoreline.

Bring your own swimsuit, towel, and drinks.

The sauna is situated at Grimen Camping, just a 15-minute drive from Bergen city center. Parking is available right outside.

You can also reach the sauna by bus, which takes approximately 40 minutes. The nearest bus stop, Grimen, is only a few minutes' walk away.
