Kjøkkelvik Sauna

Kjøkkelvik Sauna just outside the city center is the perfect way to embrace the wild, beautiful West Coast weather. Here, you can unwind in a warm, inviting sauna.

The salt room, or salt therapy as we like to call it, is incredibly beneficial for the body.

What makes this sauna truly special is the wall of salt blocks, creating a unique atmosphere. This is more than just a sauna – it's a place for relaxation, recovery, and a lasting sense of well-being.

Just outside, you'll find the perfect spot for a quick dip to cool off. Inside, there's a simple yet cozy waiting area where you can relax before or after your sauna session.

There is a basic changing room available, though it is not private.
It is easy to get into the water. You can wade into the water from the "shoreline."

A booking gives you 1.5 hours in the sauna.
The sauna is heated and ready when you arrive for your booking.

The sauna is located in Kjøkkelvik, about 15 minutes by car from Bergen city center. Parking is available right outside the sauna.
There is also a bus connection. The journey takes 31 minutes, and the bus stop is called Kjøkkelvik. From the bus stop, it's a 5-minute walk to the sauna. For the bus schedule, we recommend using the travel planner at www.skyss.no.
