Join our experienced guides on an easy hike in the area around Herand with superb views over the beautiful cultural landscape in the Hardangerfjord.

Not up for a grand hike? It is perfectly OK; we can take a leisurely stroll and see all the sights that Herand can offer. Starting from our house, we look at the old Viking boat house ruins before exploring our very own General shop museum. We walk on to the Boatbuilder museum and then to the Cultural Historical center at the old school. We look at the stone paintings before we check if we can have a break and a coffee at Vassel. We walk through the lush forest that makes up part of the legendary cultural path, ending at the waterfall with the old sawmill. Depending on the time we can have lunch at Meieriet Restaurant.

To ensure our customers have the best experience, we only offer private tours that are tailored to your group's wishes, needs and fitness.

Meeting place:
We meet in Herand at 9.30 am if you arrive by bus from Bergen/boat from Norheimsund. Or we meet at our house in Herand at your preferred time.

Easy.

Length and time:
3-5 hrs.

Suitable for:
People in all ages who's in decent physical shape with experience from walking on paths (forrest). We can adjust this hike for anyone.
