Want a total Preikestolen (Pulpit Rock) experience? This tour combines a cruise through stunning Lysefjord with an exhilarating hike up the mountain.
Enjoy beautiful Lysefjord, gaze up at majestic Preikestolen (Pulpit Rock) from below and then look down in awe from the plateau, 604 meters above the water, in this combination cruise. You see and hear about legendary Vagabond’s Cave, greet friendly goats and get close enough to powerful Hanging Falls to feel refreshing spray and even taste its clear water.
Then it’s a short journey by bus to the trailhead for a scenic hike. The hike takes about two hours each way at your own pace on a clearly marked trail to the Preikestolen plateau. Lonely Planet calls this the world’s “most spectacular viewing platform.”
After the hike down, return to Stavanger by bus and ferry.
