There is always one question that arises when driving around in an unknown city. Where should I park my car? Parking in Bergen Norway is easier, safer and more practical than many other big cities in Europe.
Why is that so? Well, in Bergen you don’t need to stress looking for an available spot. Regardless of where you are in Bergen and where you are coming from, you will almost always find a space not far from the places you want to visit. Of course, you could try to find a spot in the streets, but sometimes it is hard to find a space at all. And it’s not any cheaper either. In the garages in Bergen you can safely leave your car while enjoying the beautiful city of Bergen.
Always an available spot
In four garages located on different parts of Bergen, there are over 3 000 places to park your car. When arriving Bergen by car, your can enter the city from E39, the main road going from the southern to the norther region of Bergen, or by the Fjord Line ferries from Denmark and Stavanger. Regardless of which direction you are coming from, you can use the same exits to enter the different parts of the city center. Which garage to choose depends on where you are going. Nobody wants to park far away from the destination, and if you choose the right garage, you are likely to be quite close to where you are heading.
