Along the way, you’ll discover neighbourhood favourites and everyday spots that showcase the true flavours of Bergen, well beyond the usual tourist path.
Designed for first-time visitors, dedicated food lovers and curious travellers alike, this tour offers a genuine introduction to the city’s culinary scene. Expect a delicious mix of fresh seafood, locally baked goods, award-winning chocolate, traditional snacks and popular seasonal dinner dishes, perfectly paired with two carefully chosen drinks.
The tour concludes at the iconic Fløirestauranten, where you’ll take in sweeping views over the city. Return funicular tickets on the Fløibanen are included, making the journey to and from Mount Fløyen part of the experience.

-We stay on paved roads, and the walk is relatively flat.
-Strollers/prams are welcome.
This tour is not recommended for vegetarians & vegans. We can accommodate, but a lot of the food won’t be considered local.
Meeting point:
Our tour begins at the Tourist information office (next to the Fish Market), at the bottom of the stairs. All guests are required to be at the meeting spot at least 10 minutes before the tour start time. We do not wait for latecomers and guests more than 15 minutes late to a tour have their booking cancelled without refund.

The tour ends at the top of Mt. Fløyen, round-trip Fløibanen funicular tickets are included for the return back to the city.

We do carry card machines if you wish to pay on site but cannot guarantee a spot on the tour at the last minute – we strictly stick to our group size. Tours require a minimum of 1 person to operate and the first booking must be done at least two hours before the tour begins, or the tour will not operate.
Cancellation policy:
Guests can cancel the tour and be fully refunded up to 24 hours before the tour start time.
There are no refunds due to bad weather. If extreme weather is forecast, the company will cancel the tour and contact travellers in advance to select another time or day. If another time isn’t suitable, the guest will be fully refunded. The tour runs on rainy days.
