Guides & Languages
All tours are led by authorised local guides who live in Bergen and they're the city's best mix of storytellers, historians, and entertainers. Our team speaks English, Norwegian, German, French, Spanish, Hungarian, Italian, Polish, Danish and Dutch. We have guides with PhDs in medieval history, guides who work all over the Nordics, and guides who love telling stories! Most of our guides have been working for more than five seasons – we really love this city and our job!
Who we work with
We run public and private tours for cruise guests, travel agents, private groups, and independent adventurers. Every experience can be customised - shorter, longer, with more food, more history, more hiking, or less rain (we'll do our best!).

Your highlights of Bryggen, the historic lanes, the city park and the harbourfront - with time to tailor the route to what you're most curious about.
Best of Bergen: Half-Day Private Walking Tour (4 hours)
A comprehensive city day: Bryggen and Bergenhus Fortress on foot, entry to Bryggens Museum, the Fløibanen funicular for panoramic views, then a classic cinnamon bun to finish. Tickets included where noted.
Half-Day Private Hiking Tour (4 hours)
Head to a locals' trail with your guide for coastal views, forest paths and big Bergen skies. May include public transport - we'll sort the tickets.
Essential Bergen by Car + Troldhaugen Concert (4 hours)
See the city from the comfort of a private vehicle with photo stops, then continue to Troldhaugen for the lunchtime concert before visiting Fantoft Stave Church.
World War II Bergen (5 hours)
Begin at Bergenhus Fortress and the Resistance Museum, then choose either Herdla Fortress or Telavåg village for powerful stories set in dramatic landscapes. Approx. 45 minutes' drive each way.
Flåm Railway & Nærøyfjord by Public Transport (Full day, ~10 hours)
