Rent a practical and well-equipped 2017 Quicksilver 905 Pilot Cabin cruiser boat with a new 2024 350HP V10 Mercury Verado engine. Can be rented by experienced sailors with a boating license or anyone born before 1980 who has ample experience operating boats of this size.
This is a safe year-round boat designed without compromises. The boat is very easy to handle with driver positions inside the cabin and at the aft deck and easy access around the boat, even if you're alone. The boat is very well-suited for fishing, with a dedicated fishing station at the aft deck. It’s also ideal for water sports with its large open aft deck and it is a comfortable boat for sightseeing trips and longer tours with overnight stays with its fixed and sheltered cabin. Even on rainy days, there’s plenty of space under the roof with the canopy up over the aft deck or in the cosy cabin. Getting around the boat is safe and easy, with a high railing around the boat and wide passage from the stern to the bow on the starboard side and a narrower passage on the port side. There is also a sliding door on the starboard side providing direct access to and from the driver's seat.
The boat is certified for up to 10 people. There are 4 fixed sleeping spaces in the front of the boat, with a 140cm wide x 200cm long bed in the bow and a 160cm wide x 200cm long double bed in the aft cabin. The seating group and table in the salon can quickly and easily be converted into an extra bed with dimensions of 80cm wide x 185cm long. Both passenger’s benches can be adjusted to face forward.
The boat is classed as B, meaning it is very stable and safe for use in the open sea in the coastal area. It is equipped with VHF, AIS receiver, radar, and chart plotter, as well as a depth sounder. It also has a drift anchor in case of engine trouble and a life raft certified for 8 people.
There is plenty of storage space on and under the aft deck, so you can bring along various equipment, such as tubes, inflatable kayaks, diving gear, or fishing gear. You can also attach SUPs or inflatable kayaks to the roof, where we have mounted roof rails. The boat has multiple rod holders both on the roof, at the back of the fishing station, and on the sides. You can also fish from the open bow. Caught fish can be gutted and cleaned at the fishing station at the back of the boat, and then stored in the large fish hold below deck.
The boat with the new (2024) Mercury V10 350HP engine consumes about 2.5 Liters of gasoline per nautical mile (1.85 km) at cruising speed (22-24 knots). However, if the boat is fully loaded and going against the current & wind, the consumption can exceed 3 Liters per nautical mile.
The boat is located at Hanøy on Askøy, and it only takes about 30 minutes from the dock to the open sea off Sotra/Øygarden at a cruising speed of 22-24 knots.
For day trips the boat can be hired with skipper and guide. The skipper has a leisure skipper (D5L) certificate and all the required safety courses to transport up to 12 passengers.

Departure/Arrival
The boat is located at Hanøy at Askøy approximately 30 min drive from downtown Bergen. We can offer to pick you up in Bergen city centre by car and drive you to the boat at Hanøy and then return you to Bergen city centre after the rental for an additional NOK 2000. There is room for 4 adults and two children in the car.
Rental
The boat can be rented for day trips, weekends, or longer trips.
Price:
Day rental: 6,000 NOK
Weekend: 10,000 NOK
Week: 22,000 NOK
Additionally, there is a deposit of NOK 8,000 for the deductible, which will be refunded when the boat is returned in the same condition as when it was rented.
Maximum number of passengers:
10 people and sleeping arrangements for up to 5 people.

Rod holders, Fishing station, fishing reels, 3 short deep-sea fishing rods with reels, dedicated bait well with seawater pump in the fishing station (also great for filling with ice and cold drinks!), 150-liter well below deck with drain for storing fish, hose for cleaning the deck (sea water pump), numerous rod holders around the stern of the boat

Booking, Payment, and Terms:
The boat can be booked by email (click the email icon at the top of the page) or by phone. Booking and payment are made via bank transfer prior to the trip. The boat can be cancelled free of charge up to 7 days before departure. Cancellations within 7 days will incur a 50% charge of the rental fee.
